I just finished reading this with my book club and it is superb! Researched, practical, and written by a mother and educator with a wealth of experience. This is the mentor you wish lived in your neighborhood or taught at your school! One of the best parenting books I've read and I love growth and strengths mindset of this book. If you get a chance, listen to her on a podcast or video because she is a dynamic speaker and very inspiring!

Spreading wisdom

Of course my kids delivered a disappointed ‘Thanks’ when opening the gift. I listened on audio and knew I couldn’t remember to pass on the interesting facts and ideas that I learned, so I bought the books as gifts. Some ideas are old and some are new. Overall a great read.

As an elementary educator for the last fifteen years, I finally found a book that put all the frustration and wondering of why kids come to school struggling, drained, and overwhelmed.
